Chrysalis Institute of Technology is an Australian ICT education provider and a registered training organisation. During the design workshop which included the founders and staff it was clear that Chrysalis’s mission is to bridge the gap between academia and practical application of ICT skills.

According to the founders, academia usually only exposes an individual to a conceptual understanding of the course matter, As a result students felt overwhelmed and out of touch with industry when looking for work.

Chrysalis aspired to fill this gap between academia and the industry by delivering practical, hands-on training while embedded into the industry.

This then became the foundational thought to create the brand identity.

“Chrysalis” essentially is the process of transformation from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis and, finally, an adult drawing parallels from a similar journey it’s students undergo from academia to industry.

Wings of the butterfly became the inspiration for the logo design, which was synonymous to the enablement the training institute wanted to create amongst its students.
